Frank M. Jones, an 87-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002 at the Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.

Frank M. Jones, an 87-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002 at the Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the Jamesport Masonic Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home and will continue until 9 o?clock tonight (Monday, Jan. 28, 2002).
Mr. Jones was born on Sept. 15, 1914 in Wheeling, the son of Ira Silas and Katherine Mawhor Jones.
He was married on June 1, 1935 at Kingston to Edna Karguth Jones.
Mr. Jones move to Chillicothe from Jamesport, where he spent most of his life engaged in farming.
Survivors include his wife, Edna; three sons, Frank and Gary Jones of Chillicothe and Larry Jones of Wheeling; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Flora Porter; and two brothers, Raymond and Paul Jones.
The family is requested memorial contributions to the Jamesport Baptist Church. These may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home at PO Box 47 Chillicothe, MO 64601.
