Kimberly Dawn Sheppard Burns, a 28-year-old resident of Maitland, died on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002 in Graham.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002 at the Ravenwood Christian Church. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 o?clock tonight (Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002) at the Price Funeral Home in Maryville.

Mrs. Burns was born Feb. 15, 1973 in Fairfax, the daughter of Jimmie and Karen Sheppard. She had resided in Ravenwood prior to moving to Maitland two months ago.

Mrs. Burns was a graduate of Nodaway-Holt High School in Graham and was a member of the Ravenwood Christian Church.

Mrs. Burns was married in Maryville on June 9, 2000 to Brandon Burns, who survives of the home.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Kurt A. Babb of Maitland; two daughters, Brittany R. Burns of Maitland and Hannah M. Burns of Waynesville; a brother, Jimmie Sheppard Jr. of Tyler, TX; and two sisters, Cindy Kinder of Alma, KS and Kathy Jo Theas of Craig.

Survivors from this area include two aunts, Beryl Stinson of Princeton and Verla Harlan of Trenton, and an uncle, Roger Cain of Trenton.
