Margaret Langdon, a 73-year-old resident of the Sunnyview Nursing Home, passed away at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002 at the nursing home, where she had resided since Dec. 5, 1994.

Margaret Langdon, a 73-year-old resident of the Sunnyview Nursing Home, passed away at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002 at the nursing home, where she had resided since Dec. 5, 1994.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, 2002 at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Rev. Barry Boulware will officiate. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton.

A family visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to services at the mortuary.

Mrs. Langdon was born on June 26, 1928 near Princeton in Mercer County, the daughter of Lawrence and Lucy Preston Yates. She graduated from Mount Moriah High School and was married to Roger Nolan Langdon on March 14, 1953 in Mercer County. He preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1992. They had lived and farmed all their married lives in the Tindall community before moving into Trenton in October 1990. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Trenton.

Mrs. Langdon is survived by one son, Rick Langdon and his wife, Debi, of Sedalia; one brother, Howard Yates of Nixa; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Lynch and Kathryn Diane Langdon.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Langdon was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; and one brother, Richard Yates.
