Diane Kay (Meek) Decker, 48, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at her home in Bogard from cancer. She was a former resident of Cameron and Columbia.

Diane Kay (Meek) Decker, 48, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at her home in Bogard from cancer. She was a former resident of Cameron and Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, at the Bram Funeral Home in Maysville. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, east of Maysville.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 6:30 to 8:30 o’clock this evening, Oct. 6.

Mrs. Decker was born on Aug. 25, 1951 in Cameron. She was raised near Cameron and graduated from Cameron High School. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, and was married to Michael Decker on Dec. 10, 1988 in Carrollton.

Mrs. Decker co-founded the Country Flowers and Gifts Store in Maysville with her mother. She also worked as a home interiors and gift displayer for 15 years.

Mrs. Decker was baptized at the Maysville Christian Church and attended the Baptist Church in Coloma. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and the Braden HEO Club; and was an active 4-H club member and leader for the Bogard Willing Workers 4-H Club.

Survivors include her husband, Michael of the home; one son, John Rooney of Lexington; one daughter, Christin Rooney of Dallas, Tx.; her parents, Keith and Jean Meek of Cameron; three sisters, Joan (Jody) Pearl of Maysville, and Verna Treece, Janet Meek, and Jennie D. Meek, all of Cameron; and her grandmother, Jennie D. Meek of Cameron.

The family suggests memorials to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Board, the Owen Scholarship Fund, or the Coloma Baptist Church. These may be sent to the Bram Funeral Home, Maysville, Mo. 64469
