Officers were elected by the Rissler PTO to serve for the 1999-2000 school year during a meeting on Tuesday night at the Rissler Elementary School.
The president will be Calvin Brown. Other officers are Elizabeth Hamilton, vice president; Connie Key, secretary-treasurer; and Tracy Utley, Jerry Rowland, Lee Creason and Brandy Maberry, committee members at-large.
The annual chili supper has been tentatively set for Thursday, Nov. 18. It was decided that monthly meetings would be held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria, with the next meeting to be Nov. 2. Programs are also planned at each meeting, with the November program to be on the Rissler School character education program.
