Mrs. Dorothy Friedrich Rose, 95, of Unionville, died at 2:35 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999, at the Putnam County Care Center. She was a former resident of Trenton.

Mrs. Dorothy Friedrich Rose, 95, of Unionville, died at 2:35 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999, at the Putnam County Care Center. She was a former resident of Trenton.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Comstock Funeral Home of Unionville.
Mrs. Rose was born on April 13, 1904 in Lancaster, the daughter of Carl Christian and Nevada Susan Roberts Friedrich. She was married to Virgil Casey Rose. He died in 1982.
Mrs. Rose lived most of her life in Unionville with the exception of 10 years when she lived in Trenton. She was a member of the First Christian Church, the PEO, and the Sorosis Club, all of Unionville.
Survivors include a son, John Friedrich Rose of Rochester, Mn.; three grandchildren, Lisa Rose Tschopp, and Casey Rose Berndt, both of Dallas, Tx., and Candice Rose of Columbia; and three great-grandchildren, Drew Christian Donoho, and Drake Austin Donoho, both of Columbia, and Alexander Lukas Tschopp of Dallas.
Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Louise Skinner, and Margaret Ruelland.
