An informational meeting on the A-Plus Program being implemented in the Grundy R-5 School District will be held on Monday, Sept. 27 in the high school commons.

The 7 p.m. meeting will provide information to parents about the program, which is designed to enhance the basic curriculum by providing students with a rigorous academic and technical education. Those students who meet requirements of the program are eligible to receive two years of free tuition, books and fees to any Missouri public community college, technical or vocational school. The class of 2002 will be the first students in the Grundy R-5 District to qualify for the financial incentives and parents of students who are sophomores or younger are especially encouraged to attend.

Amy Axtell is the A-Plus coordinator for the R-5 School District.
