The names of two additional persons have been released in connection with the theft of stereo equipment and other items from vehicles around Trenton.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, Stephen Evans, 19, of 1411 Main St., and Joshua Borders, 22, of 2711 Sportsman Rd., have been arrested in connection with thefts from vehicles owned by Cody Plant, Gary Black and Brian Whitney. Evans has posted a reduced bond of $15,000 and was released, while Borders remains in the Grundy County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Both men are to appear in court Sept. 14, as are three other defendants in the case, Brandon Hemsworth, Robert R. Abbott and Robert Sharp.
