The Mercer County Fair begins Wednesday at Princeton and will continue through Saturday, with a variety of activities planned.
4-H and open class judging, along with rabbit and chicken judging are planned during the day on Wednesday, with the evening activities including a horse show at 7 p.m. and a baby show at 7:30 p.m. On Thursday, swine, 4-H and FFA judging are scheduled during the morning, with an ATV rodeo in the afternoon. The evening events include a sheep dog demonstration, adult and kids games, a pedal tractor pull and a musical performance by Rita Hanes and Todd Schweizer at 8 p.m.
Friday’s schedule includes a morning sheep show and an afternoon pet show, with a talent show slated at 7 p.m. Activities conclude Saturday with the beef show, a garden tractor show and the youth livestock auction. The evening entertainment is “Extreme Bull Riding,” which will be preceded with a concert by DeWayne Spaw.
