Raphael Vincent (Mike) Doyle, 84, of Gallatin, formerly of Kan-sas City, died Monday, July 5, 1999, at the home of his stepchildren, Constance and John Tho-mas, in Gallatin.

Raphael Vincent (Mike) Doyle, 84, of Gallatin, formerly of Kan-sas City, died Monday, July 5, 1999, at the home of his stepchildren, Constance and John Tho-mas, in Gallatin.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 9, at the Bram Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Breckenridge.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Thursday. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Mr. Doyle was born on July 15, 1914 in Kidder. He was raised in Kansas City and graduated from Manuel High School. He was an accomplished violinist, banjo and guitar player and pianist. He conducted the high school orchestra and played left tackle on the football team. Mr. Doyle also gave private music lessons most of his life.

Mr. Doyle began farming in 1932 in Caldwell County, near Kidder. He was employed at the Kansas City Bomber, formerly the Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac auto assembly plant, as a security guard during World War II. After the war, he returned to
