Mrs. Bonnie Lucille Nigh, 83, a resident of Princeton, died July 4, 1999 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Princeton. Rev. Victor Buntin will officiate. Burial will be in the Hamilton Cemetery, west of Modena.
Open visitation is in progress at the funeral home. There is no family visitation scheduled.
Mrs. Nigh, the daughter of George and Lola (Hamilton) Alexander, was born near Spickard on April 15, 1916. She was married to Loris Lee Nigh on March 9, 1935. He died on Feb. 3, 1999.
Mrs. Nigh was raised in Spickard and graduated from Spickard High School. She worked for several years as a licensed practical nurse at Lambert Hospital in Princeton. She later received training as a lab technician in Smithville, and worked as a lab technician at Noll Memorial Hospital in Bethany for several years before she retired in 1958.
Mrs. Nigh was a member of the Modena Christian Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, George and Joann Nigh of Princeton; two grandchildren, Linda Holt of Harris, and David Nigh of Kearney; four great-grandchildren, Josh and Kourtney Nigh, and Chance and Kelsey Holt; one brother, Raphael Alexander of Hermitage; a sister-in-law, Irene Hendrickson of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Nigh was preceded in death by one brother, Alva Alexander.
