Bobby L. Horton, 60, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at his home in Independence. He was a former Trenton resident.
A graveside service and burial were held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 25, at the New Salem Cemetery at Independence.
Mr. Horton was born on March 29, 1939 in Chula. He was employed by the Ford Motor Plant in Claycomo until he retired.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine of the home; a daughter, Heather Dotson of Independence; two brothers, George Horton of Buckner, and Jack Horton of Englewood, Co.; three sisters, Sue Albrecht of Stover, Phyllis Marrs of Independence, and Nancy Spencer of Blue Springs; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Horton was the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Griffin of Trenton.
Memorials may be made to the family for the education fund for Mr. Horton’s grandchildren.
