Amanda Lucille (Yutzy) Kramer, a resident of Jamesport, died on Sunday, June 20, 1999, at the Hed-rick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, at the Mose Graber residence at James-port. Burial will be in the Meadow View Cemetery, south of Jamesport.
The family will greet friends at the family home on Highway NN, west of Jamesport, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 22.
Mrs. Kramer was born on July 6, 1919 on the family farm near Plain City, Ohio. She was raised in that vicinity and attended country schools in Madison County. On Sept. 18, 1941, she was married to Ralph W. Kramer at Plain City.
Mr. and Mrs. Kramer farmed near Plain City until moving to Jamesport in 1966. They have farmed in Daviess County, near Jamesport, for over 33 years. Mrs. Kramer was a member of the Old Order Amish at Jamesport.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph of the home; five sons, Lester Kramer, and wife, Frieda, of LaGrange, In., Jonas Kramer of Granger, In., Vernon Kramer, and wife, Becky, of Jamesport, Abe Kramer, and wife, Esther, of Sugarcreek, Oh., and Dan Kramer, and wife, Lorene, of Richmond; four daughters and sons-in-law, Florence and Ora Hochstetler of Redding, Ia., Edna and Joe Petersheim of Vermontville, Mi., Katie and Melvin Graber Jr. of Loganville, Wi., and Ruth Ann and Paul Graber of Jamesport; three sisters, Sarah Yutzy, and Katie Yutzy, both of Plain City, and Mary Miller, and husband, Andy, of Fredericktown, Oh.; one brother and sister-in-law, Jonas and Katie Yutzy of London, Oh.; 37 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kramer was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Katie (Troyer) Yutzy; two sisters, Edna Helmuth and Emma Yutzy; two brothers, Eli and Gideon Yutzy; and three grandchildren.
