The Grundy Unit of the American Cancer Society will hold its third annual Relay for Life event this weekend at C.F. Russell Stadium.
The 13-hour event will begin at 6 p.m., Friday and run through 7 a.m., Saturday, with teams representing all walks of life having at least one member on the track at all times. Among the highlights of the fund-raiser will be a cancer survivor’s walk at 6 p.m., Friday and a luminary lighting and memorial service set for 9:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided throughout the evening.
