During the meeting of the Laredo Board of Aldermen on Monday night, members approved use of Court Money, an online payment option that would allow residents to pay their city bills.
City Clerk Ashley Bonnett said payment can be made with a debit or credit card at www.missouripayments.com. There will be a 4 percent fee charged to the customer for using this option, which goes to Court Money and not to the city. Mrs. Bonnett said customers will also continue having the option to call in to make a payment for a $5 fee.
The board also voted to increase the salary for maintenance employee Adam Cooksey by 3 percent to $12.36 per hour.
The next board meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12.
