A total of 2,499 individuals have been tested for COVID-19 by Wright Memorial Hospital at Trenton and Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe since testing began earlier this year.
According to information received on Monday, July 20, 767 of the tests were conducted by Wright Memorial, including 516 residents from Grundy County, 127 from Mercer County, 17 from Livingston County and 107 from other counties. HMC has tested 1,732 persons, including 1,054 from Livingston County, 215 from Grundy County, 47 from Mercer County and 416 from other counties. Results of those tests are not made available by the hospitals.
Drive-through testing is available at both Trenton and Chillicothe for those who meet testing criteria and who obtain an order of testing from a health care provider prior to arriving at the testing site. Testing at Trenton is done at the Green Hills Medical Clinic from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. The Chillicothe testing is done at the former Washington Street Food and Drink location from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
