Judge Thomas Alley

James L. Baker, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years, with the special condition that he complete a substance abuse evaluation and follow any recommendations.
Bevan J. Bohm, Kansas City, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to stealing a motor vehicle, a class D felony, and stealing-$750 or more, also a class D felony. Sentencing was set for Aug. 13.
Pierre O. Celestine, Chicago, IL, pleaded not guilty to fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance, a class E felony; and possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less, prior drug offense. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 16.
Jeremy J. Danielson, Faribault, MN, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to forgery, a class D felony. He was sentenced to serve five years in the Department of Corrections, with the sentence to run concurrently with a sentence in Livingston County.
Kelsey L. McCaughey, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, a class D felony, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine or methamphetamine, a class E felony. Imposition of her sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for five years, with the special condition that she complete the Phoenix Program and pay $300 to the Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.
Dana R. Thibodeau, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a weapon-while intoxicated-loaded weapon, a class E felony, and first degree endangering the welfare of a child creating substantial risk, a class D felony. Imposition of her sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for five years with the special condition that she be subject to alcohol monitoring.
Jon F. Ashford, St. Joseph, admitted violating the terms of his probation on an original charge of second degree burglary, a class C felony. He had his probation continued for one year, with the additional condition that he enter and complete the Third Circuit Treatment Program.
Cindy Gearin, Trenton, admitted violating the terms of her probation on an original charge of altering a lottery ticket, a class D felony. Her probation was continued with the additional condition that she submit to monthly urine analysis, increase her reporting to Preferred Family Healthcare, pay $25 to the Citizen’s Advisory Board, complete Offenders Offering Alternatives at the Chillicothe Correctional Center and complete 20 hours of community service.
Jeremy D. Hamilton, Trenton, admitted violating the terms of his probation on an original charge of driving while intoxicated (persistent offender), a class E felony. His probation was continued with the additional condition that he complete the CODS program.
Kellie S. Holtman, St. Joseph, was sentenced on charges of stealing a motor vehicle, a class D felony, and stealing, a class A misdemeanor, to which she had already pleaded guilty. Imposition of her sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for five years. She is to complete the Buchanan County Treatment Program and pay $1,235 restitution.
Christopher E. Parsons, Cainsville, admitted violating the terms of his probation on an original charge of second degree assault, a class D felony. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve five years in the Department of Corrections, with the sentence to run concurrently with cases in Harrison County and Mercer County.
Keone E. Stanton, Milan, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to second degree burglary, a class D felony; stealing, a class C felony; stealing, a class D felony; and two counts of first degree property damage, both class E felonies. Sentencing was set for Aug. 13.
Jonah A. Newman, Trenton, withdrew his plea of not guilty and pleaded guilty to tampering with a motor vehicle, a class D felony, and first degree property damage, a class E felony. Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years, with the conditions that he serve 120 day shock time, with credit given for time served in the Grundy County Detention Center, and pay $2,000 restitution.

Judge Steven D. Hudson

Steven M. Cicero, Kansas City, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of operating a vehicle with defective equipment and was fined $200.50 and $74.50 costs.
