The Trenton City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 24 at city hall.
Items on the announced agenda include an ordinance authorizing the city to enter into a lease-purchase transaction to pay for improvements at the wastewater treatment plant, including the headworks project; an ordinance entering into an agreement with David Tolen to lease the PSF hangar at the Trenton Municipal Airport; an ordinance authorizing an agreement with RS Electric Corp. for cabinet upgrades at the water treatment facility; an ordinance authorizing an agreement with Irvinbilt Construction for water line replacement; an ordinance authorizing an agreement with Perkins Dozing for the 17th Street abatement and demolition project; an ordinance approving a change order with SAK Construction for sewer work at the intersection of 24th Street and Pleasant Plain; a presentation by Toth and Associates concerning an electric rate study; discussion and approval of the net metering policy; and approval of bids to purchase wood poles and motorized gang-operated air breaker switches. An executive session for personnel is also planned.
