Mid-America Music Festival Is July 19-21

The third annual Mid-America Music Festival will be held on July 19-21 on the 70-acre grounds of the Black Silo Winery in Trenton.
Presented by CFM Insurance, the festival is back in a big way with this year’s co-headliners, Sawyer Brown, A Thousand Horses and Parmalee. Also featured will be Runaway June, The Steel Woods, Tyler Bryant and The Shakedown, Joe Stamm Band, Centerline and Slow Leak.
“The Mid-America Music Festival is more than just music,” Black Silo Foundation President Jenn Hottes said. “Festival goers will love the primitive style camping, the mechanical bull and hot air balloon rides, vendors, food trucks, beverage stations, fireworks and more.”
Gates open at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 19 with rock and blues bands starting at 4 p.m. Gates will open at noon on Saturday, July 20 with country and bluegrass bands starting at 2 p.m. Each band will play a 90-minute set length with a 30-minute intermission.
Tickets for the two-day event start as low as $49 and are available at the Black Silo Winery, online at MidAmericaMusic.com or they may be purchased from one of the following ticket outlets. Persons purchasing a ticket from one of these locations will receive a $5 discount, with a percentage from each ticket sold to be donated to the festival charities.
Tickets are available at Trenton Hy-Vee, Vintage Vines, the North Central Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center and Dynamic Tax and Accounting Service, all of Trenton; The Foundation Trust for Trenton High School; BTC Bank (any of its 10 bank locations, including Trenton); Camp Rainbow; and the Spotted Dog in St. Joseph.
