A Harris girl received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Monday night on Route E, five miles south of Harris.
Kortney Banner, 16, was taken by ambulance to the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan for treatment. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said she was the driver of an SUV that was westbound on Route E when it traveled off the right side of the road and struck a fence before overturning. The vehicle was demolished.
