R-6 Students Turn In Pop Can Tabs

Students from Pleasant View R-6 preschool and kindergarten made a visit to the McDonald’s food chain on Friday, April 20 to turn in the soda can tabs they have been collecting throughout this school year. The two classes have been saving and donating for the past 20 years. Proceeds from the money earned from recycling the tabs goes toward the Ronald McDonald House, which helps millions of families with sick children find comfort and support when they need it most. Students were treated with an ice cream cone from the restaurant for their efforts.
