The St. Joseph News-Press has released its All-News-Press Now Winter Sports Athletes Of The Year.
Two Trenton athletes earned spots on the all-star teams as juniors Ainsley Tolson and Mykah Hurley were both recognized. Tolson was included on the publication’s area girls basketball first team and Hurley was a third-team selection. The duo combined to average 28.2 points, 6.5 assists and 6.7 steals per game this past season. The duo led Trenton to a 26-2 record, a Grand River Conference championship and tournament titles at Gallatin, Lawson and Hamilton.
