The Trenton High School Instrumental Music Department competed in the large ensemble portion of the State Music Festival on Thursday in Platte City.
THS Director of Bands Tim Gilham reported that all ensembles received a II (outstanding) rating. Students participated in large percussion orchestra, brass choir, woodwind choir and concert band events.
Gilham said he was proud of the students for their hard work in preparing for the competition.
