Child molestation charges have been filed against a Milan man who is now being held in the Grundy County Detention Center.
According to the Grundy County Detention Center, 18-year-old Sean K. Babbitt is being held on $20,000 cash-only bond after his arrest on Friday on a class C felony of third degree child molestation. He is accused of having sexual contact with a child under the age of 14 between Sept. 1 and Sept. 28, 2017. Babbitt is scheduled to make his first court appearance on March 13.
