A Laredo man is facing a felony charge of assault after causing physical injury to an unidentified person over the weekend.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old Jesse J. Southwick is charged with a class E felony of third degree assault, accused of striking a person in the head and causing an approximately two-inch long gash in the victim’s head. Southwick is being held on $5,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court April 25.
