Council Leaves Economic Development Money In City, TMU Budgets

After much discussion concerning the city designating money to a new organization that will focus on economic development, the Trenton City Council voted on Thursday night to keep its commitment to the group at $40,000.
During a special meeting, the council voted 7-1 to “keep the budget as is” before presenting it for final approval at its March 27 meeting. Second Ward Councilman Brad Chumbley was the lone no vote.
