Funeral services for Annine Louise Peacock will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Casual attire is suggested.
Burial will be in the Spickard Masonic Cemetery.
A family visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 at the mortuary.
Mrs. Peacock, an 82-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 11:25 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with her daughters by her side.
Mrs. Peacock was born on Oct. 30, 1933 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of George James and Marie Hess Dinkel. After high school, she received a bachelor’s degree in education from Midland Lutheran College. She went on to utilize her degree in several areas of teaching.
She was married on Nov. 8, 1968 to Henry Owen Peacock. She had a true love for animals and enjoyed living on her farm with them.
Surviving relatives include her daughters, Kathy Savage, and her companion, Dave McGinniss of Trenton, Louanne Woods and her husband, Kenny of Phoenix, AZ Henrietta Casady and her husband, Steve of Worthington; a brother, James G. Dinkel of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Elise Barnhart of Omaha, NE; four step-children; two grandsons, Nathan Applegate and his wife, Tabitha of New Mexico and Brent Applegate and his companion, Amanda Blozvich of Trenton; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter and may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
