Jerry and Vicki Marrs of Chillicothe will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016. An open house, hosted by their children, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Grand River Area Family YMCA in Chillicothe. Mr. and Mrs. Marrs were married on Oct. 22, 1966 in Galt by Bro. Harry Pfieffer. They are the parents of two children, Jeri Vondera and her husband, Vernon of Davenport, IA and Gary Marrs and his wife, Kathie of Tulsa, OK. They also have four grandchildren, Amanda (Robert) Throckmorton of Beggs, OK, Chris Marrs of Tulsa, Kathleen Vondera of Dallas, GA and Elizabeth Vondera of Davenport, and extended grandchildren, Tarinda (Perry) Craglow of Buckeye, AZ, Charlie (Adam) Mapes of Buckeye, AZ and Kay Cee (Michael) Groves of Inola, OK. Jerry is a farmer and owner of Billinda Popcorn. Vicki is retired as secretary of the Grand River Area YMCA.
