The Trenton Blue Jays AAA American Legion baseball team finished third overall at the zone tournament, held over the weekend at Trenton’s Burleigh Grimes Field. The ’Jays went 2-2 at the tournament and capped their season with a 22-10 overall record. Trenton’s third-place finish matches the best finish at the zone tournament for the program, joining the 1978 and 1979 teams, which also finished third.
