Members from the Trenton FFA Chapter held their annual petting zoo and Food for America program for students attending summer school at Rissler Elementary School on June 6. The students enjoyed seeing and learning more about a variety of animals including a horse, pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, calves, rabbits, hedgehogs and puppies. During the Food for America Program, Mariah Fox, Emily Lynch, Latorrie Johnson and Jayden Roeder educated the students about where their food comes from, food grants, FFA and, at the end, they made and served pizza biscuits.
