Trenton Native Is Honored

A Trenton native is the recipient of an award that will allow her to continue helping to save lives in Tanzania.
Martha Hoffman Goedert, a 1972 graduate of Trenton High School, has received the W. Newton Long Award from the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Mrs. Goedert, who is a volunteer nurse-midwife with the Peace Corps’ Seed Global Health program in Tanzania, East Africa, received the award for her life-saving work
