R-6 School Reunion Planned

In January 1959, Pleasant View R-6 School was the new home for students who had previously attended one room schools with four grades each at Independence, Liberty, Ream and Mount Pleasant Schools.
“We were fortunate to be among those first through eighth graders whose patrons and parents saw the need for working together to provide a brand new building,” said Betty Ricketts Steele, a member of the 1961 eighth grade
