Fire Tax Is Rotary Topic

Trenton Fire Lt. Doug Franklin presented the program at Thursday’s meeting of the Trenton Rotary Club. Debbie Carman was the program chairman.
Accompanied by the incoming fire chief, Brandon Gibler, Franklin presented information about the city sales tax issue that will be on the April 5 election ballot for voters in Trenton’s four wards. The proposal is for a one-quarter of a percent sales tax to benefit the fire department.
