Freddie L. Romesburg, a 66-year-old Trenton resident, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care.
Farewell services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Edinburg Baptist Church. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Mr. Romesburg was born March 29, 1949 in Trenton, the son of Fred and Viola Raymo Romesburg.
He was married to Mary Charlene Orndorff on Sept. 13, 1975.
He was a member of the Edinburg Baptist Church. He worked at Landmark Manufacturing and prior to that had worked at Schuler Monument. He loved to fish, coon hunt, ride horses and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a wonderful storyteller.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Dena Romesburg and Rebecca Deskins and her husband, Billy; six grandchildren, Kaycee Crawford, Sabrina Brooks (Daron Wonsetler), Sierra Deskins, Patrick Behen, Sydney Deskins and Kaytee Wright; a great-granddaughter, Gabby Crawford; and a great-grandson, Jaydon Wonsetler; siblings Jim Romesburg and his wife, Lydia, and Mary Alice Utterback; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Meierhoffer Funeral Home of St. Joseph is in charge of arrangements.
