The Princeton City Council on Tuesday night considered two requests to forgive water usage, met with the Princeton R-5 School superintendent and heard about a possible increase in natural gas transportation costs.
According to City Clerk Danette Snapp, the council agreed to forgive a portion of the water usage bill for Circle S Motel, where the increased consumption cannot be accounted for, but chose not to forgive usage at Bristol Manor, where the increase was traced to a toilet that had been running. The council met with Princeton R-5 Superintendent Jerry Girdner to discuss the April ballot issue for the school district. Girdner thanked the council for their assistance. The council also met with Bill Buss of Hall Engineering, who indicated that there may be an increase in the cost to transport natural gas through ANR Pipeline.
The next meeting is set for 6 p.m., on Thursday, April 7.
