Kids Club Wrestling In Kirksville

The Trenton Kids Wrestling Club was in action last Saturday, traveling to Kirksville for the Kirksville Youth Wrestling Tournament. Trenton won five gold medals at the meet with Zach Archer winning at six-and-under 55 pounds, Hunter McAtee winning at 10-and-under 70 pounds, Gavin Chambers winning at 10-and-under 85 pounds, Sam Gibson winning at 10-and-under 100 pounds and Kaden Owen winning at 12-and-under 115 pounds.
Runner-up finishers for Trenton included Logan Sahagun, six-and-under 50 pounds; Josiah Birkhead, eight-and-under 65 pounds; Logan Wilson, eight-and-under 75 pounds; and Noah Lewis, 14-and-under 155 pounds.
Other placewinners included Bryar Foster, fourth in the six-and-under 45-pound A bracket; Ethan Hawkins, fourth in the six-and-under 45-pound B bracket; Spencer Stieh, third in the eight-and-under 65-pound bracket; Jackson Huber, third in the eight-and-under 75-pound bracket; Tanner Phipps, fourth in the eight-and-under 65-pound bracket; Chase Foster, fourth in the eight-and-under 90-pound bracket; Mason Rongey, third in the 10-and-under 65-pound bracket; Brayden Hughs, fourth in the 10-and-under 65-pound A bracket; Anna Johnston, fourth in the 10-and-under 65-pound B bracket; Maverick Stieh, fourth in the 10-and-under 70-pound bracket; Aiden Weyer, fourth in the 10-and-under 75-pound bracket; Brayden Clause, fourth in the 10-and-under 85-pound bracket; Luke Schilling, third in the 12-and-under 110-pound bracket; Trevor Brittain, third in the 12-and-under 115-pound bracket; and Jesse Huber, fifth in the 12-and-under 95-pound bracket.
