Aaron Balsbaugh of Jamesport and Ayron Osborn of Trenton claimed the overall 5K finishes while the 10K winners were Dr. Kevin Harris of Trenton and Jordan Esry Jones of Chula. Balsbaugh captured the top 5K honors in the men’s division with a time of 17:37 while Miss Osborn took the women’s 5K with a time of 22:88. Dr. Harris ran the 10K in 41:28 and Mrs. Jones clocked a time of 41:45.
The top three in each division, along with their times, included:
5K Men – 1. Balsbaugh; 2. Charlie Hoffman of Trenton, 18:44; and Trent Crawford of Trenton, 19:55.
5K Women – 1. Miss Osborn; 2. Nina Jermanovich of Spickard, 26:14; 3. Chandra Keuhn of Marshall, 27:38.
10K Men – 1. Harris; 2. Jake Frazier of Jamesport, 44.53; 3. Ethan Keuhn of Marshall, 50:13.
10K Women – 1. Mrs. Jones; 2. Katie Quilty of Columbia, 49.18; 3. (tie) Missie Cotton of Trenton and Jewell Harris of Trenton, 55:11.
Modine Manufacturing of Trenton captured the overall team prize in Saturday’s event. Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation sponsored the event, which was a fundraiser for the “Equipped for the Future” campaign to help pay for the purchase of a new ultrasound machine.
Foundation Development Officer Kurt Mylenbusch expressed his appreciation to all the participants and sponsors, who enjoyed good weather for the event.
