Farm Bill Decision Too Assistance

University of Missouri Extension Ag Business Specialist Randa Doty will offer assistance with the 2014 Farm Bill Decision Tool on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
She will be available from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Harrison County Extension Office, located in the basement of the Harrison County Courthouse in Bethany. The decision tool that will be used was developed by FAPRI/AFPC.
The tool will help producers with farm bill decisions including base acre reallocations, yield updates and program elections. Information needed for completing the decision tool are current base acres, CC yields, 2008-2012 planting history, 2008-2012 actual crop yields and crop insurance reports.
Computers will be available at the site for participants to use. Individuals who would like to start before the work day or cannot attend can access an online decision tool at https://usda.afpc.tamu.edu/.
