School Immunization Appointments Suggested

The Grundy County Health Department is reminding parents to schedule immunization appointments for their school-age children prior to the start of the school year.
School immunizations primarily affect three age groups – students entering kindergarten, who must have a booster series; students entering eighth grade, who must have a tetanus booster; and students entering college, who may be required to have a meningitis vaccination.
