Kathleen Wilson, a 90-year-old resident of Princeton, died on Sunday evening, June 22, 2014 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Slater Funeral Home at Trenton with Rev. Shannon Munday Officiating. Burial will be in Spickard Masonic Cemetery.
A family visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilson was born on Jan. 4, 1924 in Martinsville, the daughter of William Elmer and Clora Cloe Anderson Maxwell. She graduated from Princeton High School. She lived in Albany, Mill Grove, Spickard and Princeton. Before retiring, she was employed by Wright Memorial Hospital of Trenton.
She was a member of Modena Christian Church in Modena.
She was married on Dec. 31, 1943 in Trenton to Elwood J. Wilson, who preceded her death on Nov. 2, 2003.
Her survivors include one son, Kenneth Wilson and his wife, Sara of Spickard; one grandson, Scott Wilson and his wife, Robin and one granddaughter, Lynda Lynch and her husband, Scotty, all of Trenton; one brother, Lester Maxwell and his wife, Ann of Hephzibah, GA; two sisters, Louise Lambert of Princeton and Rosalee Lundy of Bethany; six great-granddaughters; and two great-great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clarence (Ruby) Maxwell and Donald Maxwell; one sister, Helen Milner; and three infant brothers and sisters.
Memorials are suggested to the Spickard Masonic Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home.
