The Trenton Rotary Club met on Thursday at the First Christian Church, discussing duties of the various committees.
President Gary Black led the discussion, which included information regarding the history of the club and the need for chairmen to head up the 2014 Missouri Day Festival Parade. A youth program is also being discussed, replacing the long-time Fifth and Sixth Grade Basketball Tournament that was sponsored by the Rotary Club as well as other service organizations.
During the business meeting, Black said he would be meeting with the board about designating club fines to the PolioPlus program. He also talked about the need for more diversified club membership.
Next week’s program chairman is Denny Chesnut.
