Funeral services for Mary Lou Duke are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A visitation is scheduled from 5 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at the mortuary.
Mrs. Duke died at 12:45 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton.
Mrs. Duke was born on June 3, 1940 in Kansas City, the daughter of Richard Peery and Mary Margaret (Lawrence) Hill. She graduated from Trenton High School in 1958 and the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1963. She was married in Trenton on April 14, 1962 to Gerald Duke, who preceded her in death on March 3, 2007.
Survivors include one son, James Duke and his wife, Shakeila of St. Petersburg, FL; a daughter-in-law, Karen Duke of Ft. Worth, TX; and three granddaughters, Kaitlyn Duke of St. Petersburg and Lindsay Duke and Kristen Duke of Ft. Worth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Michael Duke; and her brothers, Richard Hill, Robert Hill and Steven Hill.
