The Trenton FFA recently donated two boxes of diapers to the Division of Family Services to be given to a family in the Trenton community. The donation came from monies collected through the inaugural FFA Baby Show held during the NCM Fair. Trenton FFA members met on July 16 to volunteer at the local food pantry. The fFA motto states “Learning to do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve” and members of the Trenton FFA were truly “living to serve.” Members helped serve over 150 community members throughout the morning. The student learned so much from their volunteer work and enjoyed the opportunity. Trenton FFA members volunteering their time at the food pantry included Jacob Davis, Logan Lowrey, Conner Lovell, Alainey Shipley-Fair, Advisor Brook Kreatz, Alli Shipley-Fair, Huston Sprinkle, Wynne Devorss, Derek Stimpson and Sam Tate.
The Trenton FFA chapter met on Wednesday June, 26 for the annual Pool Party event. Over 35 FFA members and families gathered to make a splash in the Trenton Aquatic Center. Before members went to cool off the advisors and the officer team first held a small meeting. The topic of discussion was the NCMC Fair, cook shack and alumni BBQ.
