Constance “Connie” L. Marcellus, a 63-year-old resident of Branson, died on Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Branson. The Rev. Thomas N. Willcox will officiate. Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013) at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home in Branson, Mo.
Mrs. Marcellus was born on Aug. 31, 1949 in Hastings, NE, the daughter of Jean Boyle and Clair Boyd.
She was married on June 13, 1971 at Creston to Peter Ralph Marcellus, who survives of the home. The couple moved to Branson from Trenton.
She was an office manager and physician’s assistant and was a member of PEO in Branson.
Mrs. Marcellus is survived by her husband, Dr. Peter Marcellus of Branson; son Theron (Tiffany) Marcellus of Columbia.; daughters, Dr. Jennifer (Dr. Jonathan) Patterson of Lee’s Summit and Amanda (Clinton) Miles of Branson; her father, Clair Boyd of Branson; a sister Ronda Boyd of San Diego, CA; and four grandchildren.
She was was preceded in death by her mother and sister, Barbara Boyd.
