A Trenton woman has been charged with felony forgery after turning herself in to authorities.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Theresa K. West, 53, has been charged with forgery, a class C felony, in connection with a check written on an account from Green Hills MACA. The check, which was allegedly written on Dec. 30, 2011, was written for cash and was made to look as though it was genuine. She has posted $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court March 13.
