Action got under way on Monday night in the Pleasant View R-6 Tournament with four games being played.
In girls action, Bishop Hogan defeated Chula, 20-18, while Laredo upended R-6, 28-17. In the boys games, Bishop Hogan downed Chula, 41-17, and R-6 got the best of Laredo, defeating the Tigers 26-22.

In the Chula-Bishop Hogan girls game, Maggie Leatherman led Bishop Hogan with 14 points. Erin Campbell had 7 for Chula. In the Chula-Bishop Hogan boys game, Justice Baker scored 18 for Bishop Hogan and Cole Lambert had 8 for Chula.
The Laredo girls were led by Emily Milazzo with 12 points. Tomi Delp had 11 points for R-6.
The R-6 boys were led by Isaac Harris and Ryan Stimpson with 8 points each. Charles Baldwin scored 12 for Laredo.
Tonight’s schedule finds the Laredo girls taking on Chula at 5 o’clock, followed by the Laredo boys and Chula at 6 o’clock. The 7 o’clock game pits Bishop Hogan girls gainst R-6 while the R-6 boys will take on Bishop Hogan at 8 o’clock.
