An evening workshop for women to learn more about marketing grain and livestock will be held in Chillicothe in November.

“Annie’s Project II: Women Marketing Grain and Livestock” targets farm women with a passion for business involvement. The workshop will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays, Nov 9, 11, 16 and 18 at the FCS Financial building on Highway 65 North in Chillicothe. Course topics will include marketing terminology, basic hedging problems, futures contracts, cash contracts, livestock marketing, crop insurance and selling options contracts. Field faculty from the University of Missouri Extension will teach the course.
