A ticket was issued following a non-injury accident Wednesday near the intersection of 13th and Merrill streets.

According to Trenton Police Officer Seth Rorebeck’s report, the accident occurred when a van driven by Janice Belvel of 12041 Liv 202, was eastbound on West 13th Street and began pulling over to the side of the road. She failed to realize how close her vehicle was to a parked truck owned by Randall H. Rummerfield of 418 W. 13th St., and the van struck the front end of the truck. There was minor damage to the passenger side of the van and to the front end and brush guard of the truck.
Mrs. Belvel, 56, was ticketed for careless and imprudent driving by striking a parked vehicle.
