The Trenton City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. on Monday at city hall

Items on the announced agenda include a ordinance authorizing an agreement between the city and Peyton Contracting Company for repairs of city-owned buildings damaged in last spring’s hailstorm, an ordinance granting a conditional use permit to Larry D. Barnes to allow Preferred Family Healthcare to build a 24-bed residential treatment center on Oklahoma Avenue, an ordinance granting a special use permit to Dewayne Marley to allow Kenneth Fellows to operate a pool hall at 807 Main St., and ordinance granting David Klingensmith a variance to construct a carport at 1703 Chestnut St. and awarding of bids for surplus property. Members of the Grundy County Law Enforcement Committee will also meet with the council to discuss efforts to construct a county/city law enforcement facility, including the sales tax election in February which would provide funding for construction and operation of the building.
