Daniel J. ?Tom? Bowe, a 74-year-old resident of Brookfield, died on Monday, June 28, 2004 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2004 at the Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home at Brookfield. D.D. Russell will officiate. Burial will be in the Haseville Cemetery near Browning.

A visitation will begin after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2004. A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Bowe was born April 13, 1930 in Chula, the son of Charles Everett and Iowa Elizabeth Cook Bowe. He married Helen Atkins, who preceded him in death and later married Dorothy Russell Shouse, who survives him of the home. He had farmed in the Laredo and Chula areas and was a member of the Brookfield Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Judy Thompson of Afton, OK, and Glenda Shouse of Columbia; a son, Bill Shouse and his wife, Debbie of Brookfield; nine grandchildren, Ron Sawyer and his wife, Sarah, Tommy Thompson, Amber Osborn and her husband, Wendell, Joey Thompson and his wife, Crystal, Blake Ramsey, Heather Ramsey, Jolene Dodd and her husband, Josh, Brenna Shouse and Jarred Shouse; five great-grandchildren, Bailee Osborn, Spencer Osborn, Martin Thompson, Castor Dodd and Silas Dodd; one brother, George E. Bowe and his wife, Shirley, of Laredo; and one sister, Joan Wade and her husband, Marvin, of Branson.

In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
